I am delighted to announce one of my paintings from Zippy series will be part of The Priseman Seabrook Collection of 21st Century British Painting. A personal endeavour by artist, writer and curator Robert Priseman, the collection holds over eighty paintings produced by artists practising in Britain today including Terry Greene, Nathan Eastwood, Ben Cove, Wendy Saunders, Lisa Denyer and Claudia Boese.

I met Robert at The Immediacy of Paint symposium in Ipswich last month. His passion for painting resonated with me, the medium still possesses an “aura” that seduces artists more than ever in our complex Digital Age.

“They are the artists who are moving forward with what painting can do and what it can represent, and they are doing it by creating real objects for an unreal world.”
